Language Enrichment is a 30-hour class that provides instruction in the explicit teaching of decoding and spelling skills.
The curriculum is designed for the regular classroom and incorporates the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
The training is provided via videoconference.
Seven BISD teachers are participating in the training. FMC Elementary School Teacher Ruby Webb is the local facilitator of the training.
