REFUGIO – Country music fans can expect a full evening of lively entertainment at the Refugio County Jamboree’s 23rd anniversary show next Thursday, March 27, at the Refugio Community Center.

Entertainers from across South Texas are expected to join the Jamboree band for some toe-tapping, hand-clapping fun.

Organizer/band leader Rick Faircloth has gathered an array of talent including Ray Crittenden, L.A. Zdansky, and Ronnie Murray alongside the Jamboree Band.

“I had the chance to see Ronnie Murray perform at the Western Palms in Corpus Christi several years ago as a professional entertainer,” said Faircloth.

“He is an excellent performer.”

“L.A. is not playing regularly anymore, but stays close to his love of music by doing the area shows from time to time,” Fairlcoth said.

“He’s a friend to everyone and we’re happy to have him on our show.”

The show also features the Jamboree Band, a seven piece group that is loaded with experience.

Admission is $5, and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Refugio Community Center.
