James H. Bluhm
James H. Bluhm 73 of Marble Falls, Texas, friend of Jesus, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher, chemist, community volunteer, youth sports coach, water ski instructor, hunting and fishing guide, and boat chauffeur, went home to be with the Lord August 13, 2013.

James was born March 15, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Homan and Ailene Purcell Bluhm. His family moved to Three Rivers, Texas in 1944. James graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1958.

He earned his degree in Chemistry from Southwest Texas State University in 1962. While teaching science in Floresville, Texas, James earned his Master’s degree in Chemistry. He worked for Texaco from 1965-1999. He founded JB Consulting in 1999 and fully retired in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his parents Homan and Aileen Bluhm. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara, his son Rob, wife Pam and their sons Brooks and Bryan of League City; his son Scott and wife Aimee of Needville and brother Lynn and his wife Janis Bluhm of Three Rivers.

The family received visitors Friday, August 16 from 6-8 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel, 1805 Hwy 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas. A celebration of life service was held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1:30 PM at First United Methodist Church, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive, Marble Falls with Reverend Ellen Ely officiating. Pallbearers were Alan Bluhm, Cory Bluhm, John Ligon, Clay Whitley, Taylor Whitley, and Jake Whitley. Honorary pallbearers were Brooks and Bryan Bluhm.

Family and friends may leave messages of condolence at Memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army or First United Methodist Church.
