Week two of the Throwdown is complete and Team Everyone Else has made up quite a bit of ground. I'm still ahead, but by less than a thousand pages. We've started receiving postcards and e-mails from Kansas, Oregon, and places as far away as the Netherlands in support of Team Everyone Else. But Team Everyone Else needs your help, too, now more than ever, so please like us on Facebook and post your words of support (and if you have a Runge Library card, come in and sign up, you may put Team Everyone Else over the top). I'm posting short reviews of the books I'm reading on my blog (Rampant Biblioholism), so if you're curious about my book list, you can follow along there.

Now to follow up on last week's big news: STORYTIMES! Beginning Monday, Aug. 5, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:30 we will have Storytime. So gather up your young'uns and join us for good times and good stories. Everyone is welcome at every storytime, but on Mondays we will be reading picture books aimed at kids from kindergarten level and below, Wednesdays will feature picture books aimed at kids from 1st grade on up, and Fridays we will be reading from a chapter book rather than a picture book. All of the sessions will be listed on our Facebook page, so check in there for a description of what we'll be looking at each Storytime.
