SINTON –Independence Flag Drill team prepares to ride for the opening ceremony for Western Wishes play day June 29 in Sinton.

San Patricio County Riding & Roping Club will the event with all proceeds going to Western Wishes to further their ongoing efforts to grant the wishes and celebrate the fighting spirit, courage, and accomplishments of seriously ill children and young adults. This will be an awesome event to watch and participate in with wonderful prizes including saddles and buckles.

“Our local young riders have worked hard preparing to ride for the opening ceremony. Riders range in age from nine to 15 years old,” Linda Holland said.
