After beginning his career as an electrician, James went on to become a longtime drilling supervisor in the oilfields.
He was preceded in death by his father, and youngest son, Jeffrey Clay Wolfshohl.
Survivor’s include his son, John Tyson Wolfshohl of Corpus Christi; mother; three sisters, Leah Susan Anderson of Lake Jackson, Cindy Niemann of Woodsboro, and Margaret Van Blarcum of Corpus Christi; brother, Clarence Wolfshohl, of Giddings.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Moore Funeral Home, 402 S. Alamo in Refugio, Texas, followed by burial at La Rosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, Texas.
After the burial, family and friends will gather at the Refugio County Expo Center, 245 Fairgrounds Road, Refugio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
