REFUGIO – A one-vehicle rollover resulted in what appeared to be minor injuries to the driver of the pickup at 9:55 a.m., Thursday, May 9.

The driver, Steve Muguerza, was the only one in the vehicle.

Muguerza was traveling in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 77 near Lambert Road when his white Dodge pickup left the road and rolled over in the median, coming to a halt upright.

Muguerza was taken by EMS to the Refugio County Hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

In addition to the EMS, the Refugio Volunteer Fire Department, Refugio County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety responded to the accident.

Milton’s Body and Trim Shop hauled the pickup off the median.
