WEST, TEXAS RELIEF
Due to the overwhelming response to the West victims from this point forward there is a greater need for monetary donations rather than actual items. 4-H families can donate online through their 4-H connect account at http://www.pointwestbank.com/ or www.kofc.org/texas (Knights of Columbus). Gift cards are also a great idea. You can collect cards from Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and other nationally recognized stores are great.
Registration is open March 1 – June 1 for county camp. Karnes County will be going July 8- July 10. County Camp will be at the Texas 4-H Center in Brownwood. For more information, refer to the information posted on the county website.
DISTRICT FASHION SHOW
Karnes County will be represented by one 4-H’er at the District Fashion Show at the Victoria Mall on April 27.
The next County Council meeting will be April 29 at 7 p.m. at the Extension office located at 115 N. Market St., Karnes City.
