Editor:

When I was 10 years old (1936). I had a friend Richard, (a Spanish boy). We played together all the time. We were close friends. Mrs. Rose Lambert lived in the house. She had a white spitz dog. Richard and I would bathe, pick ticks, and fleas off the dog every Saturday morning.

She gave each one of us 25 cents. That’s how we made our show money. Nine cents movie, five cents popcorn, five cents, black cow sucker, and five cents box of caps for our cap pistols. We played cowboys behind the Lions Park. That is my memories of the Lambert home.
