WEIMER — Another fine season for the Woodsboro Lady Eagles basketball team has come to an end. The Lady Eagles were defeated by a very good team from Weimer, 72-31, on Thursday, Feb. 14.

This was the third year for the Lady Eagles to participate in the Area round of the playoffs. The season record was 19 wins and 12 losses.

“I would like to thank the team; for all their effort and time. The seniors; Brittany Lopez and Lourin Stewart will be missed,” said Coach David Carmichael.

The returning Lady Eagles will be expected to continue the tradition of excellence. Other members of the team for 2012-13 were Madalynn Nixon, Taylor Perez, Toni Martinez, Jamie Wilson, Danika Vasquez, Melissa Zuniga, Brittney Stewart, and Michelle Martinez.

“The Lady Eagles and their coaches would like to say thank you to all the parents and fans for their support through out the year,” said Coach Carmichael.
