Jimmy F. Younts, 87, of Three Rivers, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013.

Mr. Younts was born to Charlie and Vera (Freeman) Younts in Robstown on April 3, 1926, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a handyman and married twice. His first marriage was to Gladys Franke in Pawnee on Feb. 14, 1948, and the second was to Bernice Pullin in Oakville in 1971.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Gladys Younts; second wife, Bernice Pullin Younts; a son, Charlie Younts; an infant brother; and brother, C.L. Younts.

Survivors include his children, Bobby (Linda) Younts and Frances (Terry) Lee and Billy (Cheryl) Younts all of George West, Mike (Shirley) Younts of Three Rivers and Kathy (Mike) Kimsey of Denver, Colo.; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Oakville Cemetery with Pastor Norman Sulaica Jr. officiating.
