George West loses to Marion 36-21

The George West High School football team lost to Marion 36-21 on Friday, Oct. 18.

It was a rough start for the Longhorns as they were down 8-6 in the first quarter.

The Longhorns stampeded onto the Bulldog's field in the second quarter, scoring 15 points to Marion's 12 to take the lead 21-20 by halftime.

But things didn't go so well for George West in the second half of the game as they were unable to score again; by the third quarter the Longhorns were down 28-21

Marion scored eight more points in the final quarter for a final score of 36-21.
