Demah N. Lemley, 91, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at a Corpus Christi hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Lemley was born to William David and Virda Iva (Massey) Walton on Aug. 3, 1921, in Gail. She married Albert Bernard Lemley and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Lemley; and a sister, Allene Skinner.

Survivors include a son, Bernard (Margie) Lemley of Beeville; two daughters, Peggy (William) Skoruppa of George West and Susan Morris of College Station; two brothers, David “Bud” (Vi) Walton and John (Wonda) Walton, both of George West; three sisters, Illa (Euel) Hines of George West, Iva Lee Bridges of Three Rivers and Willie Ruth Ford of Houston; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday, March 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.

The funeral service was conducted there Saturday morning, March 2, at 10 o’clock with Pat Traxler officiating. Burial followed at the Oakville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bryan Skoruppa, Scott Skoruppa, Aaron Lemley, Matthew Morris, Bobby Bridges, Mark Walton, Billy Roeske and David Lenard.

Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
