Mrs. Lopez was born on Sept. 26, 1990, in Beeville. She married Andrew Joaquin Lopez in Beeville on March 24, 2012, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Joaquin Lopez of George West; parents, Darla and Ernest Barrera of Beeville; two sisters, Ernesteen and Margaret Barrera, both of Beeville; two brothers, Ernest Barrera Jr. and Jimmy Barrera, both of Beeville; five step-brothers, Ernest and Robert Barrera of Fort Worth, Frankie Barrera of Houston and Albert Cano Jr. and Jose Cano, both of Beeville; three step-sisters, Samantha, Celia and Jaimee Cano, all of Beeville; maternal grandmother, Lydia (Moises) Martinez of Beeville; maternal grandfather, Benito (Ofie) Rodriguez of San Antonio; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary was recited there at 7 o’clock that evening.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Willie Barrera, Louis Espinoza Jr., Anthony Murphy Jr., Cristopher Lira, Jason Richardson, Gil Gonzales Jr., Ernest Barrera Jr. and Albert Cano Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Barrera, Ruben Lopez Jr., Adrian Jose Lopez and all the employees at Shivers Enterprises.
