The Three Rivers Bull Dogs overcame the Natalia Mustangs Friday night in the fourth quarter to win 44-35.

In the first quarter, Three Rivers chalked up 7 points on a 50-yard run by Paul Almendarez.

Second quarter action ended up with the Bulldogs ahead 20-7. Wesley Guzman added a touchdown and Jesse Perez kicked the field goal.

Action in the third quarter slowed for the Bulldogs as the score went 20-19. Robert Moreno was injured but apparently was OK.

In the fourth quarter, both teams energized and tried to overcome the other, but in the end, the Bulldogs surfaced with the final score, 44-35.
