Brittany Shipman and Dani Coquat recently competed in the varsity district tennis tournament in Dilley. Brittany (left) lost a close match to the number four seed from Jourdanton. The match took a grueling two hours, 17 minutes and despite a great effort, Brittany came up a little short and lost 3-6, 6-7 in a tie breaker. Dani (right) drew the number two seed and lost a tough first round match 3-6, 5-7.
