Public activities for the week will kick off Wednesday, Sept. 2, with a pep rally at the football field.
The highlight of the week will be the crowning of the homecoming queen during halftime at Friday’s game.
This year’s duchesses are Samantha Lopez, Megan Niemann and Brandi Wilson.
The student council is seeking entries for the parade. If you are interested in signing up, call the high school office by Thursday, Sept. 3, at 543-4521. The lineup will be a 1 p.m. followed by judging at 1:30 in front of the high school auditorium. The parade gets underway at 2.
All those interested in being in the parade are asked not to use any decorations that may advertise alcoholic beverages or drugs, as this goes against school rules and regulations. The theme for the parade will be “Seasons.”
The Woodsboro Eagles will host Bruni on homecoming night.
Graduates from all classes ending in “9,”starting with 1929 through 2009, will be honored during halftime as well as during the parade.
“Woodsboro High School hopes to see all its exes at the Homecoming activities,” said a student council spokesperson.
