We’ve been busy here at the chamber making preparations for our upcoming events. Plans are already underway for our annual Family Fun Fest that will take place on Oct. 4. This event will be fun for the whole family with games and other activities to get everyone moving including a 5K run/walk and free and open to the public. We are currently seeking volunteers to help with this event. We are also looking for any group, organization, or business that would like to set up an activity booth, as well as sponsors.

Coming up is the Second Friday Breakfast hosted by the Karnes City Community Chamber. This breakfast has been occurring for many years. It is a very early networking event of business partners in and around the Karnes County area. You can learn directly from the source, what is happening and what is planned for our area. You can share your ideas, contacts, referrals and information. Please join us at the Karnes City Public Library on Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 a.m. We welcome all entrepreneurs, salespeople, practitioners and representatives of non-profit organizations. Hot coffee will be ready and waiting along with breakfast goodies.

The Karnes City Community Chamber of Commerce is always looking for upcoming events in our area. As such, we have been working on putting together a community calendar for each month which will include events, meetings, festivals, fund raisers, etc. that will be taking place in our area. If you have an event that you would like to have added to our calendar, please contact us and the chamber office so that we can get it on the calendar as soon as possible.

Don’t forget, the Karnes City Community Chamber of Commerce is here to support your business in any way that we can. If you have any questions or you would like to become a member of the Chamber please feel free to contact us at 830-780-3112, or karnescitychamber@att.net. Also, please like us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest news from the chamber.
