CORPUS CHRISTI – Surf’s up on beautiful Corpus Christi Bay!

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Cultural Services Division, J² Productions, Surfrider Foundation, Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, Corpus Christi Storm Water Department and the Corpus Christi Solid Waste Department are hosting this summer’s Bay Jammin’ Surfing Series. Catch the wave with these fun surf flicks that will be shown on the following Friday evenings after sunset at Anderson Amphitheater in Cole Park:

Aug. 22 – “Step Into Liquid”, surf movie, 84 minutes

Aug. 29 – Double Feature: “Bag It”, documentary, 40 minutes, and “Stoked & Broke”, surfing documentary, 55 minutes

Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers said, “Step Into Liquid is the best surfing documentary ever made.” So, come out and see some of the most spectacular surfing action on film.

Everyone is invited to come for this free community entertainment. All films are available closed captioned. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, picnic basket and enjoy movies under the wide open sky set against our beautiful bayfront.
