Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 6, if you need to register for GED practice classes through distance learning. The last summer testing will be done at the Runge Public Library beginning at 9:30 a.m., Aug. 6. There are no charges for the classes and registering will be done that day at the library. All work is done online with instructors from Region 20 Education Service Center available by phone or e-mail throughout the classes. Progress testing is done periodically throughout the course of the study. These classes are intended to prepare the student to take the GED test with all the benefits of a high school equivalency diploma.
