GOLIAD – Two Goliad men have been arrested and charged with murder and a third suspect is being sought in connection with the death of a 38-year-old Goliad man.

Goliad County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Louis Michael Flores, 49, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and later arrested Torivio "Toby" Gutierrez Jr., 40, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Both have been charged with the murder in connection with the death of Christoval Lee Garza on July 4.

Garza's body was found by a resident near Warrick Road in the early morning hours of July 4. An autopsy ruled Garza's death a homicide from blunt force trauma to his torso.
