Adolfo “Cuate” Puga, 70, of Beeville, died Sunday, July 13, 2014.

Mr. Puga was born Feb. 28, 1944, in Beeville to Alvino and Ignacia Villarreal Puga.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Alvino and Arturo Puga; and a sister, Genoveva Villegas.

Survivors include his wife, Avelicia G. Puga of Beeville; one son, Raul (Melissa) Puga of Beeville; one daughter, Irma (Archie) Ruiz of Beeville; three brothers, Bene (Paula) Puga and Dionicio (Dolores) Puga, both of Beeville and Beto (Olivia) Puga of Goliad; one sister, Alvina (Erasmo) Garcia of Beeville; and three grandchildren, Adrian Puga, Aaron Puga and Archie Ruiz.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Treviño Funeral Home.

The funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory #2.

Pallbearers were Rolando Vela, Eddie Garcia, Danny Garcia, David Garcia, Jesse Garcia and Domingo Garcia Jr.
