Pettus – Pickett Systems of Strike visited South Texas Children’s Home Ministries’ (STCHM) Boothe Campus in Pettus recently to present a check from their first South Texas Benefit Golf Tournament that was held in Corpus Christi.

The Pickett Systems group (Ky Bishop, Lonnie Finkhaus, Carla Finkhaus, RJ Olmos, Francesca Floyd and Brenda Jurach) began their visit by presenting the check to Eron Green, STCHM president and CEO, who played in the tournament in May. Jeff Brewer, STCHM director of development, took the group on a tour of the campus where they visited the chapel, the pool and gym and the commissary. The commissary is usually the highlight of the tour for most guests.

The group also had the opportunity of meeting Sheila Backen when they toured Foster Cottage, where she serves as a houseparent with her husband, Terry.
