The Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held its’ monthly business meeting in the OKMH Hospital Board room on Thursday, July 3 with nine members present. President Emma Villanueva called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Minutes of the previous month’s meeting were read and monthly reports were presented by officers as well as standing and appointed committee members.

Treasurer, Patsy Marchant, and Gift Shop Buyer, Joyce Janssen, both noted record sales in the Gift Shop during the past month thanks to new merchandise being added to the inventory and restocking of popular items.

Secretary and Ways and Means Chairman, Lynn Buehring, presented the finalized plan for auxiliary sponsorship of a Summer Sale, Friday, July 18. The vendor offers more than 1,000 unique and carefully selected accessories and gifts from around the world and items for men, women, teens, tweens and children including great values on fashion and seasonal accessories, jewelry, gadgets, gifts and much more. Sale hours will be from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the OKMH lobby. Be sure to mark your calendar for this event. All proceeds will directly benefit the Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital. The next business meeting will be Thursday, August 7. The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Hospital Board Room.
