Mrs. Flores was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Tuleta to Eusebio and Guadalupe Espinoza Rodriguez. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Esmerijildo Montez and Roberto Flores; two daughters, Rachel Montez and Mary Elva Montez; two grandchildren, John Michael Rivera and Sonia Yvette Martinez; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Pauline Alvarado; and one brother, Santos Espinoza.
Survivors include four sons, Gil (Neida) Montez of Houston, Roberto (Ida) Flores Jr. of George West, Ruben (Laura Elizondo) Flores and Ramon (Debbie) Flores, both of Beeville; six daughters, Micaela (Roman) Martinez, Teresa Garcia, Mary Jane (Raul) Meza, Dolores (Dionicio) Puga and Rebecca (Ramon) Martinez, all of Beeville, and Rita Flores of Kansas; three adopted sons, David Cuellar of San Antonio, Wesley O’Neil of Beeville and Ringo DeLeon of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Margarita Lucio and Frances Moreno, both of Taylor, Dominga Gonzales of Beeville and Viola Rivera of Rockport; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, June 30, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Oak Park Memorial Chapel. Visitation continued there from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, with a rosary recited at 7 o’clock that evening.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Roman Martinez Jr., Elvira Gaitan, Benselado M. Garcia, Laurie Ann Garcia, Marijilda Montez, Josie Guerra, LeRoy Martinez, Roberto Javier Flores, Ruben Flores Jr., Roberto Ramon Martinez and Ramon Anthony Flores.
