WOODSBORO – The Woodsboro Lions Club will host the 4th of July celebration Friday, July 4, at the Woodsboro Square.

Included in the activities for the day will be the live auction. Numerous items have been donated by local merchants and individuals.

If you would like to donate any items to the auction, contact Johnny Koliba at 526-2424. All donations are appreciated.

“Come to the square Friday morning for the parade, raising of the flag ceremony and the auction,” said Johnny Koliba, Lions Club member.

“We still have some great items coming in. Bring your lawn chairs, visit with your neighbors and help support the Woodsboro Lions Club Scholarship fund, eye glasses program and many other community projects. See you July 4.”

Also, anyone wishing to participate in the Woodsboro Lions Club July 4th Celebration may go to www.woodsborolionsclub.weebly.com for information on who to contact for the 5K run, auction, arm wrestling and hot dog eating contest, street dance and for vendor spaces.

“We are asking for everyone to get involved,” said Rosie Trevino, parade organizer.
