It’s the fourth week of the Summer Reading Club at the Falls City Public Library and the fun just keeps coming. This week, the library is pleased to announce that Miss Karnes County, Taylor Dziuk, will be spending some time with them on Wednesday, June 25 at 3 p.m. She'll be here to help with a Fourth of July craft and read a story about this country's birthday and how to celebrate it.

On Thursday, June 26, there will be an Ice Cream Social and everyone gets to make their own ice cream to eat and enjoy. There will be plenty of supplies on hand, so come join, where it's cool inside, out of the hot sun.

Remember that the last day to count books for certificates and door prizes is Wednesday, July 9. And, anyone who reads 25 books will be entered in a drawing for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with a tri-fold cover. There are still plenty of prizes for you to earn so keep reading. The book and DVD sale is still going on so stop by and check out what is there. For more information you can call the Falls City Public Library at 830-254-3361 between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
