THREE RIVERS – The Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers organization is offering a reward of up to $1,500 for information that leads to the recovery of a pickup truck recently stolen in Live Oak County.

Crime Stoppers Law Enforcement Coordinator Lt. John Davis said deputies in Live Oak County were called to a residence on County Road 499 just before 8 a.m. on June 1 after the truck’s owner noticed it was missing.

The vehicle was described as being a white 2012 Ford F-150, four-door truck.

The license plate number was BY70189. The vehicle identification number was TFW1EF6CKE32183.

The truck has large Toyo tires and a Texas State University sticker attached to the middle section of the rear, sliding glass window.

Deputies discovered a piece of broken window with the letter “A” on it, suggesting that the thief was able to gain entry to the locked vehicle through that rear window.

The keys to the truck were inside the residence.

Davis said the approximate value of the vehicle is $40,000.
