Congratulations senior class of 2014! After graduation, Project Graduation was held at the First Baptist Church in Runge. Students brought one guest and came to play. Great gifts were given out each hour on the hour and a huge thank you goes to the sponsors who donated gifts and money to make it successful and keep young people safe on one of the most important days of their lives.

The Runge Chamber monthly meeting is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Runge Public Library. It’s a great place to meet and network with other business owners and members of the community interested in making Runge a great place to live and raise your children.

Several projects are being worked on, but the biggest is the Runge Independence Day Celebration to be held July 5 at the Runge VFW. There is a fantastic line up of entertainment and activities. The Lackland Air force Band of the West will be performing from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Don’t forget to recognize and remember your war heroes by signing up for the Wall of Honor.
