Crime Stoppers seeks help solving thefts during Goliad County Fair

GOLIAD – The Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week involves the theft of items from vehicles during the recent Goliad County Fair.

During the weekend of the county fair, a number of people reported items such as ice chests and coolers stolen from the beds of pickup trucks parked at the Goliad County Fairgrounds.

In addition to the coolers, a portable Troy-Bilt Model 5500 generator was stolen from the back of one pickup truck parked in the camping area of the fairgrounds.

It is believed that the items were stolen Saturday night or Sunday morning. Most of the thefts were discovered on Sunday morning.

Anyone with information about who may be responsible for the thefts during the Goliad County Fair is asked to call Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers at 361-362-0206 or 1-877-362-0206.
