On Wednesday, March 26, at 7:24 a.m., Kenedy police and Karnes County EMS responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident in Kenedy.
Later that day at 12:28 p.m. emergency workers responded to a one vehicle rollover. EMS was also dispatched to the scene.
Less than an hour later, at 1:23 p.m., an 18-wheeler driving on U.S. Highway 181 near Shorty’s Restaurant just south of Falls City rolled over and hit a parked pickup.
The truck leaked saltwater that required clean-up. Fire and EMS services responded to free the driver of the 18-wheeler.
On Thursday, March 27, at 12:34 a.m. sheriff’s office personnel responded to a two-vehicle rollover accident at Farm-to-Market Road 792 and County Road 326.
Later that morning, at 2:47 a.m., an 18-wheeler jackknifed on U.S. Highway 181 in Hobson on a bridge. The highway was blocked for several hours before emergency crews could clear the scene.
Just a few hours later, at 6 a.m., there was an accident involving three vehicles on U.S. Highway 181 near Shorty’s Restaurant.
At 8:44 a.m. the same morning there DPS responded to a one vehicle accident at U.S. Highway 181 and County Road 220 near Hobson. EMS was also dispatched to the scene.
That same evening, at 6:07 p.m., there was a minor accident at U.S. Highway 181 and County Road 218.
Just a few hours later, at 8:58 p.m., emergency workers responded to a one vehicle accident on Farm-to-Market Highway 887 at a location about two miles from Farm-to-Market 119 in Gillett.
