Crime Stoppers seeks help catching shoplifting suspects

GOLIAD – The Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week involves a pair of shoplifting suspects who stole almost $1,000 worth of merchandise from Ag-Med Supply on Jan. 8.

A store employee told investigating deputies that two Hispanic females came into the retail section of Ag-Med last Wednesday afternoon and took a large amount of Consuela brand fashion products totaling $951.98.

Among the items taken was a pair of Consuela crossbody bags valued at $240, three Consuela purses valued at $160 apiece and an assortment of Consuela wristlets.

Both suspects were described as being Hispanic females. One was reportedly pregnant and wearing a longhorn sweatshirt, while the other was described as a “larger lady” wearing a red sweatshirt. The duo had a small child with them. No vehicle description was obtained.
