KARNES COUNTY – A new TV reality show is reaching out to local people who might be interested in sharing their stories of how the Eagle Ford Shale oil boom has changed their lives.

Fractal Media – a Los Angeles California production company is searching for individuals, families and companies who have profited from the Texas oil boom to be featured in a new reality series.

The company is specifically looking for “rags to riches” stories from real people with big personalities and interesting stories to tell.

Have oil companies come calling to buy or lease your land?

Is your business suddenly taking off?

Has an influx of new money changed your lifestyle?

Has it affected your family and relationships?

Have you left your job to pursue your lifelong dream?

Have you become an overnight millionaire?

“If any of the above sounds like you or you have a great story not listed above, then we want to hear from you,” said Fractal Media spokesperson Carrie Stett. “This series will explore the ups and downs of life in boom towns and the way people are dealing with their new-found success.”

Anyone interested is encouraged to send name, contact information, recent photos of themselves, family, business, a paragraph stating why you’d be great for the show, city or town where you live to All submissions are confidential.
