Did you know that your local library offers free eBooks to patrons? The Goliad County Library is a member of the South Texas Library Consortium. There are currently 20 libraries in the consortium which gives our patrons a wide selection of material to choose from in many formats including audiobooks, eBooks, music and video!

Start by going to the Goliad County website, www.co.goliad.tx.us/, click on the library tab, and then click on the Overdrive graphic. Library patrons can browse the collection, check out items with your patron ID, download to a PC, Mac, and many mobile devices. Patrons may check out up to five books at once and titles will automatically expire at the end of a three week lending period.

For more information, come by the library at 320 S. Commercial or call 645-2291. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
