Town of Woodsboro sets brush and lumber policy

WOODSBORO – The Town of Woodsboro will pick up brush and lumber on the second Wednesday of each month or at the cities earliest convenience. Only one pass through town will be made.

Brush and lumber will only be picked up by work orders. A work order must be requested with the city hall within the ten day period before the second Wednesday of the month.

Brush and lumber cannot be longer than six feet in length and not exceeding 24 inches in diameter. If brush and lumber exceeds the 24 inches in diameter the length cannot exceed two feet.

Brush and lumber will not be picked up from commercial properties, or any property that has a hired contractor to trim trees or tear down buildings.

Violation of this ordinance will be enforced accordingly to Section 7 and or Section 9 of the Health and Sanitation Ordinance.
