Runge Elementary 4th graders had an awesome field day on a recent trip to Mission Espiritu Santo, Presidio La Bahia, and the Fannin Battlegrounds and Monument in Goliad. The students learned hands on what it would have been like to be a Native American trying to learn the Spanish way of life or a Spanish soldier protecting those who chose to live in 1700's Texas.
