The park hopes to provide a place for new hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, apartment complexes, condos, oil & gas yards, RV parks, laundromats, and man camps.
Developers say the property is located south of Kenedy along U.S. Highway 181 featuring over 120 acres of land, and prime frontage along South highway 181. Hachar says 29 lots are available for sale and all lots are sized accordingly for future suppliers. Two entrances to the park will be provided along southbound U.S. Highway 181.
Utilities are also available at Kenedy Business Park. This facility is exclusively offering El Oso water lines and a water tower for the surrounding area.
“This development is an opportunity to join what is being called “ground-zero for the Eagle Ford Shale play,” said developer spokesperson A. B. Barrerra. “Those unsure of the longevity of this ‘boom’ should consider that roughly 2,000 miles of pipeline have been laid since 2008 and Karnes County is now one of the top crude producers in the state of Texas, drawing employment seekers and travelers alike.”
Barrerra said county officials the company has met with are optimistic that the growth and prosperity for Karnes County will continue for many years.
