REFUGIO – As a result of reported multiple shooting incidents, the Refugio Police Department arrested Noe Rodriguez for deadly conduct-discharging a firearm, according to a police press release.

On Saturday, June 29, in the early morning hours, a complainant reported being shot at.

Refugio Police Department Captain Enrique Diaz and Police Officer Todd Gordon conducted an investigation, which led them to Rodriguez’s residence off King Street.

Refugio Police Department Investigator Danny Madrigal, assisted by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Criminal Investigation Division from Corpus Christi, followed up on the circumstances surrounding the reported shootings, the press release stated.

Investigators uncovered a weaving and winding turn of events from witnesses, along with evidence confirming that persons were shot at. And the trail led to Rodriguez as the suspect.

After conferring with the Refugio County District Attorney’s office that criminal charges would be pursued, investigator Madrigal arrested Rodriguez, placing him in the Refugio County Jail, pending bond.
