The 2013 KCISD Badger Comeback was a huge success this year, held at the Falls City Hall on June 29, approximately 300 people came to visit and enjoy meeting with lots of their friends, classmates and newcomers. The Honor Classes were 1933, 1938, 1943, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, and 2003. With that many classes being honored it was not so unusual to have such a big turnout.

Support for the Badger Comback grew and people mentioned how much they enjoyed not only being there but the catered meal as well. We all enjoyed seeing and watching the current Highsteppers, Cheerleaders and some of the current band members plus former members as well.

Also presentation of the Curtis Perkins Spirit Award Scholarship Winners of the Essay Contest by The Comeback Committee were Courtney Garcez and Austin Block. Their theme about the Spirit of Karnes City ISD being so gratifying during their time in school rang true with the audience.

If anyone would like to help the present committee work toward next year's Badger Comeback, please be sure and let us know. Thanks to all of you who came.
