504 calls made in 10 days; wife hits husband, steals wallet

In addition to arrests, the LOC Sheriff’s Department received approximately 504 calls during the 10-day period from June 18-27.

The most common calls placed to the LOC Sheriff’s office were undocumented immigrants, fire reports, vehicle accidents, and reckless driving complaints continuing with frequent numbers.

Calls

A TR man reported that his wife kicked him out of the car, hit him, pushed him down, and then stole his wallet leaving him on the side of the road.

In LOC a man advised that someone had taken up residence in his parents trailer, both parents are deceased and no one should be in the trailer.

A LOC resident notified the sheriff’s office that as per his contract the pipeline workers are to be off his land in one hour, resident stated if the worker is not off his land he would take care of it himself.

A TR store manager reported finding a credit card pouch with money and a white substance inside.

A GW woman requested assistance with a large tarantula in her sink, she did not want the spider killed, just removed.

In Tilden a driver reported a dump truck on Hwy 16 tailgating and driving 90 mph.

In LOC a caller reported a black Chevy pickup driving around selling stolen items from the back of the truck.

In GW a concerned citizen called to notify authorities of an owner starving their horses.

A TR man advised that a male is standing outside harassing him, and the male is in the nude.

A Sandia caller requested officers to his house due to break ins the last week, stating the first time a bucket of coins was stolen.

In LOC man advisesd that people have dumped trash in a bar ditch in front of his home and he has their name.

In Tilden officers detained four men at a store parking lot, three of the men were undocumented immigrants.

A TR man believed someone tried to burn down his trailer, he found a burn pile next to the wire wheel.

In Sandia a driver reported a small green car hit and electrical pole and drove off, the electrical line is now laying across the road and no one can get by.

A TR woman requested officer assistance due to a neighbor that continues to harass her.

A Whitsett business owner advised she ran two subjects off from her property, requested officers check on them, they are believed to be on something.

In LOC a caller notified dispatchers of a travel trailer that was on fire, the caller believed no one to be in the trailer but that the fire was spreading fast to surrounding trailers.

June 30 in TR several calls were placed concerning loud bangs, officers were dispatched to find a 18 wheeler that had blown two tires and was on fire. The driver was able to put out the fire, the TRFD assisted by adding water to cool it down.

Arrest

Julian Rogers, 42, of George West was arrested on June 2 for driving with license invalid and open container. Recommendation from Judge Klaeger (Burnet County) cash or surety bond of $2,907 no release date was given.

Miguel Villareal III, 33, of Tilden was arrested on June 7 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. No bond or release date was given.

Richard Ramirez, 43, of San Antonio was arrested on June 9 for criminal mischief, bond forfeiture. Disposition was $2,000 bond as per Bexar County.

Christine Michelle Reyna, 25, of George West was arrested on June 10 for credit card or debit abuse. No bond or release date was given.

Guadalupe Hurtado, 46, of George West was arrested on June 12 for smuggling of person. No bond or release date was given.
