Goliad State Park’s ‘Adventures in Camping’ set for July 18-20

Archery, fishing, swimming, and treasure hunting! Goliad State Park is now accepting registration for its annual summer program, “Adventures in Camping.”

The event will be held July 18-20, 2013. Children ages 8-12 are welcome to participate in archery, perfect their casting skills during the backyard bass activities, learn how to set up a tent, and experience the wonderful outdoors through a modern day treasure hunt called geocaching.

“Adventures in Camping” events are on Thursday, July 18 from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. On Friday, July 19, camp will start at 8 a.m. with dinner at 6 p.m for the whole family and conclude with an optional family campout.
