MESA VERDE, Colo. – The search for a missing 51-year-old Goliad man in Mesa Verde National Park has yielded no information or clues to his safety or whereabouts.

Park public information officer Betty Lieurance said Monday that no new information on Mitchell Dale Stehling, who has been missing since leaving on a short hike June 9, had been obtained over the weekend.

Flyers with Stehling's photo have been distributed throughout the park.

The search was scaled back Saturday. Lieurance said foul play has not been ruled out in the investigation.
