He was born on a Sunday, March 23, 1941, to Adan Garza Sr. and Ernestina Lopez Garza. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and from the Corpus Christi Army Depot where he was a helicopter repairman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Noe Garza Jr., sister Ore Marroguin and a brother, Adan Garza
Survivors include wife Sally R. Garza of Refugio; three daughters, Sally (Peter) Sams of Washington D.C., Minnie (Ralph) Sandoval of Beeville and Norma Valenzuela of San Antonio; son Elias (Patricia) Valenzuela of New Braunfels; three sisters, Maria Cruz of Presque Isle, Sylvia Mercer of Leonard Town, Md., Rosie Mall of Houston; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at Our Lady of Refuge.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery- Refugio.
