BEEVILLE — The Joe Barnhart Bee County Library will host a special workshop on Texas historical markers later this month.

Scheduled for June 29, members of the Texas Historical Commission staff will be at the library between 1:30 and 4 p.m. to provide information on the program.

The workshop is free; however, an RSVP is required from those who would like to attend the session.

The public is invited.

Anyone who would like to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about Texas historical markers should contact the THC by email at history@thc.state.tx.us or by calling the commission at 9512) 463-5853.

The library is located at 110 W. Corpus Christi St. across from the Bee County Courthouse in downtown Beeville.

More information on that and other programs offered by the commission may be found on the Internet at www.thc.state.tx.us.
