Police Chief Joe Treviño said the thief will face a charge of strong arm robbery, a second degree felony that could land him in jail for up to 20 years and cost him a $10,000 fine.
Detective Lt. Eddie Garcia is in charge of the investigation. He said the thief was described as wearing a bandana over his face and a ball cap on his head when he walked into the business at about 11:58 p.m.
He had no weapon.
Treviño said the apron the victim was wearing at the time contained change and cash.
There was no estimate on how much money the thief got.
