“People we were talking to that night didn’t share much information,” said Investigator Adam Levine.
The incident happened at what Levine called a “large graduation party outside Tuleta.”
He said deputies received the first call at 2:57 a.m. from an address on West King Lane.
Levine said deputies were told that several small fights had broken out during the party.
The investigator said neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries. One of them, a 23-year-old male, was transported to a Corpus Christi hospital, but he was released after treatment and after doctors determined that his injuries were not as serious as originally thought.
The other victim, a 19-year-old man, was treated at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville and released.
Levine said he planned to interview some of those who were at the party to see if they can offer any additional information.
He asked that anyone who might be able to identify an assailant in the stabbings call him at the Bee County Sheriff’s Office at 362-3221.
He said witnesses may choose to remain anonymous by providing information to the Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers. Witnesses who report to that organization may always remain anonymous. Often, if the information provides leads to an arrest, the witness may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
