Goliad High School students Amanda Cloessner, Garrett Haney, Kara Thomas and Trista Welfel will all be receiving a 2013 Texas 4-H scholarship in June at State Round-Up in College Station.

Record books due June 7

Record books will be completed online again this year. At the end of the year, the books will still be printed out and turned in as usual.

The earlier members start their record book, the easier it will be to complete. The online set up is made to be used year round.

Members can go online now, create their accounts or log into their previous accounts and begin on their own. The website is http://4hreports.com/index.aspx.

Members who showed an animal in the 2013 Goliad County Fair must turn in a record book to be eligible to show again in 2014.

Go to the Texas 4 website at http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/youth_recordbooks to view powerpoints, view the guide, etc.

Upcoming events

June 7 – Record books due; award forms, trip forms, royalty essays due

June 15 – Julie Wimberly Memorial Scholarship deadline
