Goliad State Park is now accepting registrations for its annual summer program, “Adventures in Camping,” which will feature archery, fishing, swimming and treasure hunting.

The event will be held July 18-20. Children ages 8-12 are welcome to participate in archery, perfect their casting skills during backyard bass activities, learn how to set up a tent and experience the wonderful outdoors through a modern day treasure hunt called geocaching.

“Adventures in Camping” events are on Thursday, July 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Friday, July 19, camp will start at 8 a.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. for the whole family, and will conclude with an optional family campout.

Registration forms are available at Goliad State Park. Participation fee is $20 per child. For more information, call Goliad State Park at 361-645-3405.
