WEIMAR - Boling didn’t stand a chance on Friday May 17, as Refugio Lady Cats captured a blowout 14-1 win in six innings.

Refugio Lady Cats scored five runs in the sixth on an error, an RBI triple by Shaylan Brown, an RBI double by Morgan Klaevemann, a passed ball, and an error.

Klaevemann went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for Refugio Lady Cats. Jackie Gonzalez also had a double and a single to bring in two runs.

Refugio Lady Cats’ Cecilia Bauer kept Boling struggling at the plate for all six innings she was on the hill. She allowed one run, had one strike out, and only three hits. She also had help from Kiasha Brown and Morgan Klaevemann, who had two double plays and seven put outs defensively.

The Lady Cats never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on a groundout by Kiasha Brown and an RBI triple by Bauer.
