AUSTIN – The Goliad Tigerettes took the silver medal in the 400-meter relay and the bronze in the 800 relay at Saturday's UIL State Track and Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

In the 400 relay, Ashtin Zamzow, Avery Zamzow, Demari Ellis and Alexius Perry combined for time of 47.85 seconds to be edged out by Tatum, which won in 47.80.

The Zamzow sisters, Perry and Carlee Howard teamed for third in the 800 relay in a time of 1:42.225, just beating out Omaha Paul Pewitt's 1:42.230 for third place. Jefferson won the event in 1:41.24 and Tatum was second in 1:41.77.
